    London is one of the amazing cities in the world to tour. However, many people say that touring London is often a bit on the expensive side. Even so, it is still possible to enjoy the best of London’s sights and sound when on a budget. Here are several tips to help you tour the city and still save some money.

    TRAVEL AROUND

    You can opt to take a walk as you wander around the London seeing different sights. It might be a huge city, but if you start from the city of London taking any one of its streets, with the aim of getting to one of the city’s iconic structures you will be plenty to see and explore. Try the free guided city walks if you want to learn about London’s history. Get an Oyster card online or any Tube Station to enjoy discounted fares as you move around the city in buses that allow the use of the card, which offers a cheaper way of touring and seeing London as opposed to the sightseeing buses. Be ready to spend around £10 when traveling around the city.

    If you have a thing for the arts, then the museums and galleries will have something to marvel you with the many art collections. Entry is free in many of the museums including the Tate Museum, the British Museum, the National Gallery, Natural History Museum, the Science Museum, and the Museum of London. Plan to attend one of the late-night openings that play host to talks, musicals, films, and other performances.

    London is never short of entertainment. From live music in the streets to hearty musicals in the theaters, you will have you heart’s delight of different sounds. As for the live music, you can enjoy the free concerts that are never a miss somewhere within London. The night clubs and bars are also a good option if you are looking for some night fun, and they have free entry. Entertainment when on a budget might see you spend around £25.

    FOOD AND DRINKS

    How about the best of London cuisine? Well, it might be a particular type given the rich cultural diversity of the city, but you still can enjoy the best of what London has to offer in terms of food and drink.  If are keen of a particular cuisine then you should head to the ethnic areas in the city such as the Kingsland and Chinatown for some Asian food or Southall and BrickLane for Indian cuisine. While the eateries may have meals that are a bit pricey, you can do some research and look for restaurants that have 2 for 1 offers on their main courses.
